Premier 40

The Premier 40 is a table-top press, perfect for printmaker-artist and workshops looking for an economical machine. Economical above all in terms of size and footprint, because there's no question of sacrificing quality.

The bed is made from 12mm thick HPL (High Pressure Laminate), measuring 430x600mm.
A 1:4 reduction in the drive ratio allows the machine to be used at high pressures, for greater power and ease of handling.
The diameter of the cylinders is 105mm, with a maximum height between the upper cylinder and the bed of 45mm. The cylinder bearings are attached to the pressure screws and move up and down depending on the setting. This is a useful feature when printing in relief, xylography or linocut, to facilitate height adjustment. As an additional aid, the distance between the bed and the top cylinder can be read using a ruler in milimetres.

Pressure is adjusted by means of an M20 fine-pitch threaded screw (or spindle), ensuring fine, precise adjustment.

The total weight of the Premier 40 press is 57 kg, making it relatively light and easy to handle.
