Wooden handle made by turning, in walnut wood.

Agate is much harder than the materials used to make metal burnishers. It provides a very high quality. Agate does not rust, and is maintenance free.
For ideal application, we recommend lubricating the area to be burnished with oil (e.g. sharpening oil).
