Hand-made HSS precision scraper by Matthieu Coulanges (www.matthieucoulanges.fr).

The short, 8cm-long handle is made from hand-turned walnut. It is ergonomically designed for a secure, controlled grip.
The triangular precision HSS (High Speed Steel) blade is  2,7mm wide and 23mm long.
HSS steel offers:

  • Sharpness of cut
  • High resistance to wear
  • Excellent cutting properties

The tool is fitted with a magnetic cap.
It's an excellent quality scraper that's very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing.
It is particularly recommended for mezzotint.
