This hand rosin powder not recommended for use in aquatint box.
Only for hand application, the powder is too “heavy”, it doesn't rise properly and tends to compact.
Excellent for hand-powdering.

Resin powder is used for the aquatint technique. Aquatint is a technique in which a layer of powdered resin is applied to the desired areas by heating. Unprotected areas are etched with acid (more or less deeply, depending on the duration of the bath). Note that parts that are to remain untouched must be protected by a varnish.
