Basic assortment for the Chine-collé technique in intaglio.
It contains:
- a 250g jar of starch glue
- a sheet of green Kitakata paper (36g/m²) cut into 2x 21x52cm pieces and rolled up (for sturdy packaging and storage)
- a sheet of natural white Mingeishi 48g/m² cut into 4x 24x64cm and rolled (for sturdy packaging and handling)
Kitakata paper is a very good paper for Chine-collé. It prints very well and present a beautifull green satin surface
Mingeishi paper is not only well suited to Chine-collé, but also comes in a wide range of colours.
