Set of 6 tubes relief ink washable in soapy water.

This set includes 6 tubes of 75ml each: Carbon / Primary Blue (Cyan) / Primary Red (Magenta) / Primary Yellow / / Opaque White / Transparent Base.

Handmade by Cranfield in the UK.

Suitable for all types of relief or block printing, such as woodcut and wood engraving, letterpress and linocut.

This range contains less than 1% of driers. For faster drying rates, add a small amount of liquid cobalt or manganese driers, or printmakers' wax paste drier.
Cranfield alway selects lightfast pigments for their formulations. All their inks are rated 6 or higher on the International Blue Wool Scale.


Cranfield Caligo Safe wash is oil-based, but cleans up with soapy water, avoiding the use of harmful solvents and enabling a so-called “non-toxic” practice.
The ink contains no siccatives, leaving the printer free to use them only when necessary.
