Arches 88 – 300 gsm, 100% cotton, mould-made fine art paper. Unsized, it offers exceptional ink absorption. Its satin-smooth surface, natural deckle edges and “Arches 88 France ∞” watermark make it a prestigious choice for screen printing, relief printing (linocut, woodcut) digital printing and letterpress printing.
Made from 100% cotton and manufactured on a traditional cylinder mould, Arches 88 paper features an exceptionally smooth and soft satin surface. This method ensures an even fibre distribution, excellent dimensional stability, and natural deckle edges on all four sides.
With no surface sizing, it has very high ink absorption, making it ideal for:
For intaglio, it is recommended to moisten the sheet via misting or gentle soaking, allowing better ink transfer without weakening the fibres.
