Autographic ink R&K
Rohrer & Klingner
Black liquid autographic ink in 100ml bottle
It has a high resistance to etching and acidulation.
It is made of proven elements: shellac, wax, soap and soot used here is of high quality and finely dispersed.
This ink is used for autographing in litho.
It is a process of transferring a drawing on paper to stone by passing it through a press.
The term autography comes from the Greek and means "who writes by himself".
The process developed by Aloys Senefelder, the inventor of lithography, was used at the beginning of the 20th century for many graphic and pictorial purposes (for example: drawing, music scores, literature).
With this ink the lithographer draws on a smooth and strongly sized paper (or a paper specifically "transfer").
The drawing is then transferred to the stone by a press.
