Plates are unpolished and protected by a plastic film.

Several sizes are available:
7x10cm / 10x10cm / 10x15cm / 15x15cm / 15x20cm / 20x20cm / 20x30cm / 30x40cm / 40x50cm

Copper is the most used metal in intaglio becaue of its resistance, its flexibility, its ability to be finely etched and its good heat conductibility ( quality for inking and wiping and also for applying certain grounds and cooking correctly rosin aquatint).

The unpolished finish retains ink and gives a light colored background to the prints.
