Lavender oil for suger lift technique

Lavender oil comes from the distillation of lavender.
After painting with this oil on a finely grounded plate, the etcher wipes the plate with a rag lightly soaked with alcohol and ground is lifted only under painted areas. This technique is quite similar to "sugar lift" technique.
