Mirror polished round copper plates for intaglio

The thickness is 1mm.
Plates are mirror-like finished and protected by a plastic film.

Several diameters are available:

75mm ; 100mm and 150mm

Copper is the most used metal in intaglio becaue of its resistance, its flexibility, its ability to be finely etched and its good heat conductibility ( quality for inking and wiping and also for applying certain grounds and cooking correctly rosin aquatint).

The mirror-like finish does not retain much ink and gives a white background to the prints.
